Prof. Dunwoodie’s groundbreaking work has revolutionised clinical practices and enabled genetic diagnostic tests worldwide. In 2017, her team achieved a double breakthrough with the potential to prevent recurrent miscarriages and various birth defects. Currently, Prof. Dunwoodie holds the position of Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of NSW, with extensive research experience, including training at the National Institute for Medical Research in London. She now manages the company’s operations and marketing, working closely with all stakeholders including the Board, Investment Committee, management team, fund managers and beneficiaries. Maggie is also on the production team that delivers the annual Sohn Hearts & Minds Investment Leaders Conference, Australia’s premier investor conference. Prior to Hearts & Minds, Maggie worked at UBS for five years in various roles across Asset Management, Corporate Actions, Wealth Management, Corporate Communications, Events and Marketing.

    Paul is the Chief Executive Officer of Hearts and Minds Investments. Paul has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience in investment markets, technology, retail banking, risk management and insurance. Paul is the former Managing Director of CommSec, Australia’s leading online broker and former Managing Director of Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd. Paul has also held a number of CFO and governance positions across large financial services businesses. Prior to financial services, Paul held senior roles in Chartered Accounting and Consulting firms specialising in corporate advisory and strategy. Paul holds a Commerce degree and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
