Adam Keily: [00:01:04] We're doing a podcast, you and me. [00:01:06][1.2]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:07] What we are about what? [00:01:08][1.4]

Adam Keily: [00:01:10] Well, you know how you're an accountant, right? [00:01:11][1.3]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:12] Economist, Adam, I've been an economist for 20 years. [00:01:14][2.3]

Adam Keily: [00:01:15] Same thing. Look, it's dawned on me that I need to know more about money. And I think you're the person to ask. [00:01:20][4.7]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:21] But you're a comedian. You don't have any money. [00:01:22][1.6]

Adam Keily: [00:01:23] It's not that I'm a proper adult these days, man. Look, it's crazy times out there. And I've got super I've got a home loan. I've got investments. And literally nobody knows how any of it works. [00:01:33][9.6]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:33] No, literally. Quite a few people know how it works. [00:01:35][2.0]

Adam Keily: [00:01:36] Boring people, Thomas. Boring people do. Like I could ask you, where's the best place to put my money? You mean aside from a bank? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Bank slow down with the lingo there, Tommy. Look, I promise to make this podcast jargon free, but yeah. I mean, should I really have put everything into those Teslas? [00:01:51][15.6]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:52] Yes, but what you put everything into Tesla shares. [00:01:54][2.6]

Adam Keily: [00:01:55] Why did you do that? Mom gave us the hot ticket, remember? [00:01:57][2.0]

Thomas Keily: [00:01:57] No, she was talking about Telstra shares, and that was like 20 years ago. [00:02:01][3.5]

Adam Keily: [00:02:02] Better late than never, as they say. No, they don't say that. [00:02:05][2.7]

Thomas Keily: [00:02:05] That's not an investment philosophy. [00:02:06][1.0]
